The City of Largo is hiring for a Utility Program Coordinator. This position is responsible for administrative and operational assignments and projects that will involve hands-on budget, administrative tasks, project planning, tracking performance, and financial management tasks. Researches, analyzes and evaluates assigned current programs or processes and identifies recommendations for program improvements and/or more effective service delivery.
Examples of projects or programs may include:
Oversees expansion of City key performance indicator (KPI) programs, existing internal benchmarking programs and supports the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAM) continuous improvement initiatives
Provides technical and administrative support to the Environmental Services Planner / Scheduler, managers and directors on a variety of projects and assignments
Tracks manager's progress towards meeting KPIs
Documents deliverables, and presents related information to individual projects and offers options and alternatives to increase efficiencies
Develops annual reports that compile and assess wastewater reclamation facility influent and effluent quality and flows, wastewater collection system gravity flows by sewer basins, groundwater quality data, energy efficiency improvements, reclaimed water use, and EAM statistics
Hiring Range: $45,800 - $51,500

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Engineering or another directly-related program; Master's degree preferred
Minimum of two (2) years professional experience in working with key performance indicators, benchmark data and continuous improvement initiatives using statistical analysis of technical data
Valid Florida Driver's license orvalid license from another state for transfer within 30 days of hire
Prior experience influencing, collaborating and motivating others by promoting enthusiastic cooperation and relationship building
Experience in industry best practices
Experience in water or wastewater quality management is preferred
Selected applicants will be required to complete an office exercise that may include a writing sample, spreadsheet exercise and/or a presentation
