The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Loyola Marymount University invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position. We seek to hire innovative teacher-scholars to begin in Fall 2024. A completed Ph.D. in civil or environmental engineering must be held by August 15, 2024. As teacher-scholars we integrate science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) with Ignatian pedagogy, which is fundamentally structured on experience, reflection, and action. Faculty members who are engaged in scholarly inquiry play a critical role in LMU's teaching mission and improve our educational effectiveness. They critically assess the curriculum, foster a culture of inquiry, and make possible hands-on learning experiences for students.
